Get schedule and mapping information for the free Presidio GO Shuttle Downtown Route.
It’s free and available to all – visitors, park residents, and park tenants. It operates seven days a week, running from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
A few commute time weekday trips on the Downtown Route are only available to Presidio residents and employees who have a Presidio GO Shuttle pass.
The Downtown Route begins and ends at Presidio Transit Center (next to Presidio Visitor Center), where riders can transfer to the South Hills Route to connect to popular destinations around the park.
Note that on federal holidays, the shuttle runs on a weekend schedule.

This round-trip route connects the Presidio to downtown San Francisco in 25 minutes. It picks up at the Transbay Terminal, Embarcadero BART, and Van Ness/Union Street. It stops at Presidio Transit Center (near Presidio Visitor Center) and connects to the South Hills Route, so you can travel around the park.
Get around the Presidio using this route, which travels through the south end of the park and connects to popular spots like Baker Beach, Mountain Lake, Inspiration Point Overlook, and the Presidio Officers’ Club.
