Getting To and Around the Park

There are many ways to arrive at and explore the park.

Road Closure in the Presidio This Weekend

Starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 through Sunday, October 13, westbound traffic on Mason Street will be restricted. Eastbound traffic will remain open to allow for egress. Access to businesses on West Mason will continue to be available via McDowell Avenue.
Whether you walk, bike, bus, or drive, there’s a path for you to and around the Presidio.

The Presidio national park site is located at the northern tip of San Francisco next to the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s easier than you think to get to the park using the free Presidio GO Shuttle or public transit.

Once here, you can explore miles of nature trails, take the Presidio GO Shuttle around the park, or pick up a bike share or bike rental. If driving is a must, you can find ample paid parking near many Presidio destinations.

Road Closure for Blue Angels Show October 12-13

On Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, from 12 p.m. to around 5:30 p.m., westbound traffic on Mason Street, Halleck Street, and Montgomery Street will be restricted.
