Why We Love Presidio Transit Center

Presidio Transit Center offers three essential things for a great day in the park – ways to get around, food, and restrooms. Simply pass through here on your way to a park adventure or hang out at Il Parco restaurant (opening fall 2023) or on the indoor and outdoor picnic tables. And Presidio Pop Up food vendors are nearby.

Accessibility at Presidio Transit Center

There are several parking spots for those with mobility limitations in nearby parking lots. All Presidio GO Shuttle buses can accommodate up to two wheelchairs. Service animals are welcome on the shuttles. For information about accessibility on SF Muni, visit their website.

Insider Tip

Next door to Presidio Transit Center is the Presidio Visitor Center, the “front door” to your national park experience. Get ideas from a ranger, check out interactive exhibits, pick up a free map, and buy unique souvenirs and even jackets and sweatshirts (for when the fog rolls in).

San Francisco Muni 43

The SF Muni 43 stops at Presidio Transit Center in both directions and runs north-south through the center of San Francisco, from the Marina District and Fort Mason through Golden Gate Park and Haight-Ashbury all the way down to Crocker Amazon in the Excelsior District.
