Presidio Transit Center
Paid parking is available in a lot northeast of Presidio Transit Center on Graham Street and French Court. There is also a large paid parking lot along Anza Avenue just across Lincoln Boulevard.
Presidio Transit Center offers three essential things for a great day in the park – ways to get around, food, and restrooms. Simply pass through here on your way to a park adventure or hang out at Il Parco restaurant (opening fall 2023) or on the indoor and outdoor picnic tables. And Presidio Pop Up food vendors are nearby.
There are several parking spots for those with mobility limitations in nearby parking lots. All Presidio GO Shuttle buses can accommodate up to two wheelchairs. Service animals are welcome on the shuttles. For information about accessibility on SF Muni, visit their website.
Next door to Presidio Transit Center is the Presidio Visitor Center, the “front door” to your national park experience. Get ideas from a ranger, check out interactive exhibits, pick up a free map, and buy unique souvenirs and even jackets and sweatshirts (for when the fog rolls in).
Presidio Transit Center offers transportation and food options for visitors as well as those who live and work in the park.
The free Presidio GO Shuttle has two routes, both originating at the Presidio Transit Center. The South Hills Route makes stops around the park. The Downtown Route connects to transit links in San Francisco. Both run daily and are open to all.
The SF Muni 43 stops at Presidio Transit Center in both directions and runs north-south through the center of San Francisco, from the Marina District and Fort Mason through Golden Gate Park and Haight-Ashbury all the way down to Crocker Amazon in the Excelsior District.
Presidio Transit Center has bike racks and bike lockers nearby. Bay Wheels Bike Share stations with classic (non-electric) bicycles are located here. Just use your Lyft app to rent one.
Large, gender-inclusive restrooms are located at the Presidio Transit Center. There are also private family restrooms.

Community picnic tables are available to everyone on a first-come, first-served, basis (not reservable, no grills) nearby at Picnic at Transit. There is also a sheltered patio with picnic tables attached to Presidio Transit Center. Bring your own food or pick up lunch from Il Parco cafe or the nearby Presidio Pop Up food vendors.
