San Francisco, CA (May 07, 2026) — The Presidio of San Francisco today announced its 2026 summer event season, a dynamic lineup of mostly free festivals, events, and gatherings that transform the park into a hub for culture and play.

Now in its fourth season, the summer series brings high-energy events to Presidio Tunnel Tops and the Main Post, building on the momentum of the opening of Presidio Tunnel Tops in July 2022. What started as a new approach to community programming has quickly become a summer staple in San Francisco.

“To welcome everyone to Presidio Tunnel Tops, artists and community leaders helped shape events that truly reflect and resonate with their communities,” said Aya Tacdol, community partnerships manager at the Presidio Trust. “This year we’re excited to deepen those partnerships while welcoming new collaborators and offering fresh experiences for visitors.”

The 2026 lineup features a mix of beloved traditions and exciting new additions. Returning partners include Fogo Na Roupa, World Arts West, and the Native American Health Center. Artist and activist Favianna Rodriguez returns to reveal Spring Awakening and will debut a new ground mural at Presidio Pop Up this June (details to come).

Media partner Telemundo 48 again co-presents the exuberant Fiesta en el Parque, along with a new live experience, Presidio Soccer Festival. The Arts.Co.Lab’s Community Art Market returns for its second year, showcasing local makers and creatives. NEW this season – Urban Jazz Dance Company presents the Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival, a captivating performance featuring both deaf and hearing dancers. Other returning events include the annual Memorial Day Commemoration, Brewfest, Sundown Cinema, and more.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are free, family-friendly and open to the public.

The Presidio Trust offers the award-winning exhibition, EXCLUSION: The Presidio’s Role in World War II Japanese American Incarceration. During World War II, the Presidio of San Francisco – the Army’s Western Defense Command – played a pivotal role in the unjust incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans, purportedly in the name of national security. This special exhibition was launched in 2017, 75 years after Lieutenant General John L. DeWitt issued Civilian Exclusion Orders from the Presidio and examines the post’s little understood part in these events. The exhibition invites visitors to investigate the choices – both personal and political – that led to this dark chapter in American history.

For current information on these and additional events, ongoing offerings, food and other park amenities, and self-guided itineraries, visit www.presidio.gov/events.

The Walt Disney Family Museum and Presidio Theatre also present events all summer long. Check their websites for details.

The Presidio is one of America’s most visited national park sites, located within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Spanning 1,500 acres next to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio is among the most biologically diverse parks in America. Historically a home to native peoples and a military post under three flags, its facilities have been reinvented as museums, restaurants, hotels, homes, and offices. The Presidio Trust is the federal agency that stewards the Presidio, in partnership with the National Park Service and with support from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. The Trust sustains the Presidio by leasing homes and workplaces and offering visitor amenities. Learn more at presidio.gov.
