Presidio Trust Receives Final Proposals for Mid-Crissy Field

Three final proposals envision new cultural institutions at the Presidio

The Presidio Trust received three distinct proposals for new cultural institutions to redevelop the stunning Mid-Crissy Field area:

  • The Bridge/Sustainability Institute – proposed by the Chora Group and WRNS
  • Lucas Cultural Arts Museum – proposed by George Lucas
  • Presidio Exchange – proposed by Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy

The full project proposals are now available on the Trust’s website. The public can hear directly from the project sponsors at a community meeting next Monday, September 23. Meeting participants will learn about each of the proposals and be given a chance to interact directly with the teams.  This follows a series of public meetings which took place during the project concept phase earlier this year when the proposals had been narrowed from 16 concepts to three.

For further details about the project visit the Mid-Crissy Field section of the Trust website.  In advance of Monday’s meeting, the community is encouraged to provide feedback on each of the proposals through the Trust’s website, email, mail or social media sites.
