Condé Nast Recognizes Inn at the Presidio as #1 SF Hotel
Inn at the Presidio takes home award from Condé Nast for asecond year.
PRESIDIO OF SAN FRANCISCO, CA (OCTOBER 9, 2018) – Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its 31st annual Readers’ Choice Awards with the historic Inn at the Presidio recognized as the #1 hotel in San Francisco. This is the second year in a row that the Inn at the Presidio has been recognized as the #1 hotel in San Francisco and its third consecutive year ranked as one of the top five hotels in San Francisco by the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

Nearly half a million Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted a recording-breaking number of responses rating their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today.
Surrounded by miles of hiking and biking trails and scenic overlooks, the Inn at the Presidio offers guests an intimate retreat within San Francisco’s urban national park. Once a bachelor officer’s quarters built by the army in 1903, the building underwent an environmentally sensitive rehabilitation in 2012 that transformed the historic structure into the park’s first lodging. The Inn features 22 spacious guest rooms, including 17 suites with fireplaces, an inviting front porch with rocking chairs, a dining room, and an outdoor deck with a fire pit. The Inn is the sister hotel to the newly opened 42-room Lodge at the Presidio, the closest hotel in San Francisco to the Golden Gate Bridge.
