Located high above San Francisco Bay, the nondenominational Presidio Chapel is a beautiful and inspiring setting for weddings, memorials, and cultural gatherings.
Built in 1931 by the U.S. Army, Presidio Chapel features high ceilings with original redwood beams, wrought-iron chandeliers, grand oak doors, a magnificent fresco by Victor Arnautoff, and arched stained-glass windows by Willemina Ogtero.
Its outdoor garden, an intimate small wedding venue, is lined with flowers, lush grass, and mature trees. Guests are treated to sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay and peekaboo Golden Gate Bridge views.
This venue is near the Golden Gate Club and Presidio Officers’ Club, both popular reception sites for post-event gatherings.
