Built in 1864, this quaint historic chapel in the heart of the Presidio is a beautiful back drop for weddings, memorials, and other gatherings.
The Chapel of Our Lady was the Presidio’s first house of worship when the Presidio was a U.S. Army post. Generations of military personnel attended services in this non-denominational site.
Today, the chapel is a favorite San Francisco wedding destination, and a fitting location for memorial services, small cultural events, and other gatherings. Hand painted exposed beams frame a stunning arched feature wall of glass windows behind the altar, with views of eucalyptus and foliage.
The Chapel is located on the Main Post near the Inn at the Presidio and the Lodge at the Presidio. The Presidio Officers’ Club and several nearby restaurants are ideal for post-event receptions and gatherings.
