The green-gabled roof of the Golf Course General Store is a welcoming landmark when you're in the midst of a challenging round at
Presidio Golf Course, or making that uphill trek on the 1.7-mile
Park Trail from 14th Avenue to
Crissy Field. More snack bar than store, it's the place to refill your water bottle (or crack open a beer), grab an energy bar (or hot dog), make use of the clean bathrooms, or take a breather and chat with the cheerful staff.
At the crossroads of holes 5, 11, and 16, this well-loved outpost is a destination in its own right, with or without golf clubs.
The Golf Course General Store is located just off Washington Boulevard where it meets Park Boulevard. Hours are from 8 am to dusk.
