The Walt Disney Family Museum presents an in-depth look at the life of Xavier “X” Atencio, who started his career at Walt Disney Productions as an assistant animator and went on to be one of the first Imagineers, writing the scripts for Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.
Join The Walt Disney Family Museum for a discussion of the new Disney Editions book, Xavier “X” Atencio: The Legacy of an Artist, Imagineer, and Disney Legend with authors Tori Atencio McCullough, Kelsey McCullough, and Bobbie Lucas – Atencio’s daughter, granddaughter, and grandchild-in-law, respectively – all of whom also had, or continue to have, careers at Disney. The book contains previously unpublished photographs and artwork from Atencio’s private collection and provides unique personal insights into his life, career, and legacy.
