USAF The Commanders Jazz Ensemble at Presidio Theatre

Presidio Theatre welcomes the U.S. Air Force’s The Commanders Jazz Ensemble for a free performance presented through the theatre’s Community Seats Program. Part of the Band of the Golden West, the 16-member ensemble brings the sound and tradition of big band jazz to audiences throughout the western United States. 

Led by Sergeant Michael Mannella and under the artistic direction of Senior Airman John Merlitz and Airman First Class Spencer Banister, The Commanders is composed of full-time professional Airmen-musicians performing a repertoire that celebrates America’s musical heritage. Through concerts and educational programs, the ensemble uses jazz to connect the U.S. Air Force with communities across the country. 

This special performance at Presidio Theatre is free and open to the public. All seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
