What to Expect at This Event

The 68th San Francisco International Film Festival (SFFILM) kicks off in eerie style with a free outdoor screening of The Fog, presented by Sundown Cinema and SF Parks Alliance.

Directed by John Carpenter and filmed on the Northern California coast, this atmospheric horror classic follows a small town haunted by a century-old shipwreck as a mysterious fog rolls in. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, Hal Holbrook, and Adrienne Barbeau, The Fog delivers spine-tingling thrills under the stars – complete with Carpenter’s signature synth score.

Open Captions will be provided – visit the SFFILM website for full accessibility information.
