Costume party begins at 5:30 p.m. Screening begins at 7 p.m.
About the Costume Party
Dress in your favorite Hitchcock inspired attire or any costume of your choosing. Presidio Theatre’s lobbies and outdoor courtyard (weather permitting) will be open with Halloween-inspired music, games, and concessions.
About the Movie
Vertigo is Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film set is in San Francisco – and features the Presidio’s Fort Point – and tells a romantic and intriguing story of obsession, manipulation, and fear.
A former San Francisco detective is forced to retire after his fear of heights causes the death of a fellow officer and the girl he was hired to follow. He sees a double of the girl, causing him to transform her image onto the dead girl’s body. This leads into a cycle of madness and lies. Starring James Stewart and Kim Novak. Released in 1958. Length 2h 9m. Rated PG.
