Presidio Night Walk
Enjoy a guided nighttime walk and learn more about the animals that inhabit the park.
What to Expect at This Event
Join naturalists from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the Presidio’s natural resources team on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for an easy evening walk through the Tennessee Hollow Watershed. You’ll learn about the nighttime wildlife that becomes active at dusk and explore everything from the sounds in the trees to the silhouettes flying overhead.
The walk begins at the Presidio Transit Center, just east of the Presidio Visitor Center, and covers up to two miles at a relaxed pace. Bring a flashlight or headlamp and dress warmly for an evening outdoors. Registration is required.

Parking
Paid parking is available in a lot northeast of Presidio Transit Center on Graham Street and French Court. There is also a large paid parking lot along Anza Avenue just across Lincoln Boulevard.
