Join the Presidio Habitat Stewards on Saturday, April 19, for a habitat restoration volunteer project in celebration of Earth Day. Habitat restoration is a proactive, hands-on way to revitalize damaged ecosystems and promote environmental health. Training and tools will be provided, and no experience is necessary to contribute some much-needed community service to San Francisco’s urban forests! Just come dressed to work, whether it’s rain or shine.
This is a free San Francisco event, but registration is required – sign up here. A specific meeting location will be listed in your registration confirmation email.
What to bring:
Volunteering as a Group
Get together and join one of the most unique group volunteer opportunities in San Francisco. Groups of five or more require special arrangements and must be confirmed in advance. Visit our Groups volunteer page to learn more about joining this Presidio event.
Youth Participation
If you’re looking for a free family event near you, Habitat Stewards of all ages are welcome at the Presidio! Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parental consent section of the registration form signed by a parent/legal guardian or they will not be allowed to participate. Review our Youth Policy Guidelines (PDF) for youth under the age of 15.
