What to Expect at This Event

Join National Park Service Rangers for a guided walk through Presidio Tunnel Tops and the historic Main Post. Starting at the Presidio Visitor Center, this half mile walk explores the layered history of the park, from the time of the Ohlone people through Spanish and U.S. Army occupation to its present role as a national park site.

This walk highlights how landscapes and uses of the Presidio have changed over time. The route is flat, though participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers for seasonal weather.
