What to Expect at This Event

Presidio Theatre welcomes Bay Area performer and storyteller Rotimi Agbabiaka for Godless, his new cabaret blends music, mythology, and theatrical storytelling. Performed in the theatre’s intimate 50-seat Black Box Studio, the production draws from Broadway favorites, pop songs, jazz standards, and mythological traditions to create a playful and imaginative journey through a world of gods, muses, and mortals.

At the center of the story is Dion Damilola Lokinaesha Divine, an aspiring nymph who dreams of leaving obscurity behind and claiming a place among the gods of Mount Olympus. Through song, humor, and character-driven storytelling, Agbabiaka explores ambition, identity, belonging, and the search for purpose across a landscape inspired by Greek, African, and contemporary mythology.

Audiences may recognize Agbabiaka from his acclaimed appearances on the Presidio Theatre stage as Hook in Peter Pan and Hernia the Witch in Rapunzel. With Godless, he returns to the Presidio for a new original work designed specifically for the close-up, cabaret-style setting of the Black Box Studio, where every performance offers an engaging and immersive theatrical experience.
