Edward Simon Trio with Chris Potter & Del Sol Quartet

Presidio Theatre welcomes Venezuelan pianist and composer Edward Simon as he brings his inventive trio featuring bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Adam Cruz, joined by the Del Sol String Quartet and special guest saxophonist Chris Potter. 

The ensemble will perform Simon’s latest work, Latin Heart, blending the rhythmic vitality and melodic richness of Latin American music with jazz. A longtime member of the SFJAZZ Collective, Simon is a Guggenheim Fellow and faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Chris Potter is widely regarded as one of the most influential saxophonists of his generation and is also a longtime member of the SFJAZZ Collective.
