What to Expect at This Event

Echoes of Home is a free public program at Presidio Theatre that brings together the work of artists Kuntal and Lucas Antony, whose practices explore how identity and belonging travel across borders through memory, color, and lived experience.

Kuntal’s vivid paintings draw from Rajasthan’s culture and Hindu mythology, translating music and emotion into immersive visual landscapes. Brazilian multidisciplinary artist Lucas Antony reflects a globally nomadic life, using a recurring palette of blue and orange to examine architecture, the body, and the meaning of place.

Presented in the theatre’s gallery, the exhibition transforms the space into a shared environment where visual art and live performance create dialogue and connection. The opening reception on March 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., features an artist conversation led by Rhonel Roberts, light bites, and a special performance. RSVP required.
