Coyote Q&A with Park Wildlife Ecologists at the Presidio Steps

Right on schedule, a new litter of coyote pups has been born in the Presidio. As they mature over the coming weeks and months, they will venture out from their den site near the Golf Course and start to explore other parts of the Presidio – first, with their parents, and then increasingly on their own.

To help you navigate pupping season, our Wildlife Ecologists are hosting monthly gatherings focused on coyote behavior, safety tips, and how we can all coexist responsibly.
