What to Expect at This Event 

Founded in 2004 by Boston native and German Wheel artist Chris Lashua, Cirque Mechanics performs at Presidio Theatre. The company emerged from a collaboration with the Circus Center and is known for combining circus arts with mechanical set pieces and narrative structure. 

Cirque Mechanics draws from themes of American industry and ingenuity, incorporating custom built mechanical elements into its staging. Performances feature acrobatics, apparatus work, and moments of physical comedy within a structured theatrical framework. The company’s approach connects contemporary circus technique with design driven production.
