Bay Area 48 Hour Film Project 2026 at Sports Basement

The Bay Area 48 Hour Film Project brings its 2026 Premiere Screenings & Awards to Sports Basement Presidio, showcasing original short films created by local filmmaking teams in just 48 hours. From writing and shooting to editing and final delivery, each team completes the entire filmmaking process over the course of a single weekend.

The program features two screening groups highlighting this year’s completed films, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing the filmmakers and their work. Screening Group A begins at 12 p.m., followed by Screening Group B at 2:30 p.m. The Awards Ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public, with advance registration encouraged due to limited seating.

Screening tickets are available individually or as a package for both programs, with discounted admission for students, seniors, veterans, and groups of 10 or more. All screenings and the awards ceremony take place in the Creamery Room at Sports Basement Presidio.
