Andrew Evans at Presidio Theatre

Magician and mentalist Andrew Evans returns to Presidio Theatre with Magical Origins, a new live performance tracing his journey from childhood fascination to professional illusionist. Through storytelling, sleight of hand, and original stage magic, Evans reflects on the experiences that shaped his path, from discovering magic at age six to spending time in San Francisco magic shops and later founding his own performance venue, The Magic Patio. 

Known for his work with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and his acclaimed Bay Area productions, Evans premieres new illusions created specifically for the Presidio Theatre alongside select pieces from his repertory. Combining theatrical storytelling with close-up wonder and large-scale illusion, the performance offers an evening centered on mystery, creativity, and live audience connection. 

Designed for all ages, this 75-minute production invites longtime magic fans and first-time audiences alike into an immersive theatrical experience.
