Hosted at the Presidio – April 16 to 20, 2016 Learn more and register for the conference >> Are you a lover of history and architecture? In April, the Presidio will welcome the state’s largest organization dedicated to preserving historic places and our cultural heritage – the California Preservation Foundation (CPF). This year CPF’s conference celebrates the 50th anniversary of a defining moment in the preservation movement – the passage of the National Historic Preservation Act. The gathering will also explore how all Californians can work together over the next half century to safeguard the places that matter. CPF chose to the make the Presidio the backdrop for its conference this year because the organization feels the park is “perhaps the biggest preservation success story of the 20th century.”

Something for Everyone

The conference is expected to attract more than 500 preservation professionals – but you don’t have to be “in the industry” to participate. Many fascinating sessions will take place during the conference – including study tours, workshops, and special events. You don’t need to attend the entire conference or be a CPF member to register – many activities are open to all with pre-registration.
