What's Needed for Projects at the Presidio?

New construction, rehabilitation, building improvements, interior or exterior alterations, or repair work in the Presidio must comply with all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and standards.

The contractor who will be legally responsible for the scope of work permitted by the Presidio Trust is required to understand and fully comply with all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and standards pertaining to design, permitting, pre-construction, construction, inspections, temporary facilities and general operations within the Presidio, including those that may be enforced in cooperation with other agencies.

Planning Review

Any type of new construction, rehabilitation, building improvements, interior or exterior alterations, or repair work in the Presidio must comply with all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and standards and follow the Presidio Trust Planning Review Process. 

 

Pre-Construction & Construction Standards and Guidelines

Before and during construction, all work performed in the Presidio must follow these general standards and guidelines. Additional conditions of approval may be added to specific projects as a result of the planning review process.
